Community Alert: Assistance Sought in Locating Suspect

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is seeking our help in locating an individual wanted for questioning in connection with a serious incident in our neighborhood.

Police are looking for Ulises Martinez, 24, who is accused of auto theft and is also wanted for questioning regarding the death of Matthew Carney, owner of Smokin Thighs restaurant.

On June 19, Mr. Carney was critically injured by a pickup truck on the restaurant property at 611 Wedgewood Avenue. Tragically, he passed away from his injuries on July 4th.

If you have any information that could assist the police in locating Ulises Martinez, please contact the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department immediately. Do not attempt to approach or apprehend the suspect yourself.
