Parvathi Santhosh-Kumar Nominated to Serve on Metropolitan Action Commission
Nashville, TN – WEHO Social is thrilled to announce that Wedgewood Houston resident, Parvathi Santhosh-Kumar, has been nominated by Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell and confirmed by the Metro Council to serve on the Board of Commissioners for the Metropolitan Action Commission.
The Metropolitan Action Commission is vital city agency dedicated to combating poverty and empowering Davidson County residents. As a board member, Santhosh-Kumar will play a crucial role in shaping policies and programs that aim to improve the lives of Nashville’s most vulnerable citizens.
“Cities play a significant role in creating opportunities for upward mobility,” said Santhosh-Kumar. “I’m excited to contribute to the important work of the Metropolitan Action Commission and work alongside incredible leaders to create a more equitable Nashville.”
